December 22nd my show opened at The First Parish Church in Weston, MA. 17 paintings are still on display and the show goes until Jan. 22nd. The exhibition is called, "Landscapes from Around the World" and there are paintings from Italy, Maryland, Martha's Vineyard and Boston. I am giving 25% of all sales towards a scholarship for a student at The Beacon of Hope College in Uganda where I worked this past summer. I have started a fund as a result of sales and contributions. This February I will have several paintings going to Agora Gallery in Chelsea New York. The reception will be Thursday, February 4th from 6-8pm. My Italian series of paintings will be shown at the Agora Gallery. Some of my Italian Series have been exhibited in Boston, California, Arizona, and now will be going to New York. There are many exciting happenings for me in the future. I am working on an exhibition called the "Living Circle Series." There will be 15- 18 small paintings in this series and the shapes of all paintings will connect. The exhibition will show scenes from countries around the world as well as sunrise and sunset in a day around the world. Thus, circles of time and of countries will be formed. The theme "living circle" is based on Native American Spirituality and that all people, all forms of life and all nature exist within the circle of life in balance and harmony. The painting above titled "Elephant in Merchinson Falls, Uganda" is the first painting of the Living Circles Series: Finished 2010.
